You retain ownership of notes, flashcard sets, and other content you create ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Clya a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
The Service uses AI tools (via Anthropic's Claude) to generate study materials including MCQ questions, explanations, and analogies. AI-generated content:
Pods are shared study spaces. Pod admins ("pod holders") may set rules within their pod. We are not responsible for conduct within pods but reserve the right to remove pods or users that violate these Terms.
All aspects of the Service not constituting User Content — including the Clya brand, design, and software — are owned by Clya and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without our express permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Educational content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional academic advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Clya's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
